Cadet First Class Chase Thatcher is a senior at the United States Air Force Academy pursuing a major in Political Science and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. His primary academic interest is in international relations and conflict studies with a regional focus on East Asia. Chase is currently serving as a cadet squadron commander leading a unit of 112 fellow cadets. He is also a member of the U.S. Air Force Parachute Team as a competitive skydiver and jump instructor. Chase was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.
